Thankful

A while ago and I mean a while ago my friend encourage all of her friends to write a Thankful Journal.  Where you focus on the positive in your life and not the negative.  This sounded like a good idea. . . .         


1.  I am thankful for a wonderful hubby who loves me and supports me in all I do and want to do.
2. I am thankful for two healthy little girls. 
3. I am thankful for a hubby who helps around the house.  He does laundry and dishes.
4. I am thankful for Emmeline.  My miracle number one. She is so sweet and silly.  
5.  I am thankful for Olivia.  My miracle number two.  She is so sweet and kissable
6. I am thankful Emme loves her shoes
7.  I am thankful that Emme loves her veggies especially beets.
8.  I am thankful for my Mother.  She taught me how to cook, how to love my ancestors and how to find them.  She taught me to love the gospel.  And seek for a greater knowledge.  
9.  I am thankful Matt changes diapers.  
10.  I am thankful to finally know why I feel sick all the time.  
11.  I am thankful for ldssingles.com.  Because that is how I found the love of my life.
12.  I am thankful for young women leaders who cared enough for me when i didn't care enough about myself.  Cindy Rosser, Rose Nelson, Kathy Howes, Kerri Cramer, Joy Hatcher, Sister Perfect
13. I am thankful for a little girl Emme would rather drink water then have juice
14.  I am thankful for my seminary teachers who taught me that you can have visions of donuts, Steve Mullins, Kerri Cramer and Jim Nichols.
15.  I am thankful for wonderful ancestors and a great heritage to come from.  Norway, Denmark, Ireland, Sweden, England.
16.  I am thankful for my Dad.  Who always worked hard for his family and taught us that the priesthood is important in our lives.  And that if you tease him enough he will get up.
17.  I am thankful to have a roof over our heads.  
18. I am thankful not work with behavioral patients any more.
19. I am thankful for my inlaws.  Who do so much for us and babysit our kids.
20.  I am thankful my Papa I miss him very much
21. I am thankful for Grandma Margaret and how she taught me patience and understanding.  
22.  I am thankful for my sister in law Anna.  Who made my wedding cake and gives me yummy recipes and four nieces and nephews.  
23. I am thankful that my Father taught me though I didn't always pay attention how to fix things around the house.  Now that I have my own home it comes in handy to know this stuff.
24. I am thankful even though I haven't had the chance lately that I live close to the Family History Library
25.  I am thankful for Emme sweet smile
26.  I am thankful for new baby smell
27.  I am thankful for my many nieces and nephews.  Monica, Steve, Cora, Emma, Aiden, Mamie, Robert, Bella, David, and Hannah.
28. I am thankful for the scriptures
29.  I am thankful for John Bytheway who made the gospel fun.  Which was important to a teenager.
30.  I am thankful for having wonderful a neighbor in Utah.  The Spencers
31.  I am thankful for the neighborhood we live in.  Library, Elementary School, two parks, and two grocery stores in walking distance.
32.  I am thankful I wasn't further along in my pregnancy with Olivia when I was in my car accident
33.  I am thankful for amazing Doctor Later
34.  I am thankful for my hubby who calls, and emails me from work just to say hi
35. I am thankful to be Alaskan
36. I am thankful for my brothers though we don't always get along.
37.  I am thankful for the Prophet and modern revelation
38.  I am thankful to live in a country where girls can get an education and have rights
39.  I am thankful for a sweet hubby who does dishes on his days off
40.  I am thankful to have been raised in The Church of Jesus of Latter Day Saints
41. I am thankful for Alexander.  What a pure joy he has brought into our lives.
42.  I am thankful Alex's heart condition is not worse and how strong he is despite how weak his heart is. 
43.  I am thankful for how well my kids get along and love each other.
44. I am thankful for kids who are polite and respectful when so many kids are not. 
45.  I am thankful for my Grandmother Imogene Knightall.  She taught me to love art and the smell of wood.  And to love someone who not always so loveable.
46. I am thankful for a child who laughs when he gets his diaper changed.  
47.  I am thankful for books
48.  I am thankful for the internet.  It has helped my research so much more.
