Almost Two

Emme is almost two, in seven more days.  It seems weird to me that she is going to be two so soon. She wants to be so independent and then at time she just seems still such a baby.  Emme refuses to hold hands or be carried.  She wants to go up and down stairs, get into the car her self.  Then she just wants to sit in my lap and cuddle.  Her latest thing is to hold on to my pants and follow me around the house.

Witches Night Out

Every Year we got to Witches' Night Out at Gardner's Village.  Yes I know they suggest leaving the kids and hubby at home.  However I have more fun with the Hubby and my kids.  Plus we always go with our babysitter. (Matt's Mom)  We had lots of fun and had lots of compliments on our two little witches.  People stopped us repeatedly and told us how cute they were.

Emme with her hat and tutu.  Isn't she a cute little witch?

Emme hates to hold hand but loved holding Aspen's and would even let her carry her!

She tried to sweep up the leaves

Matt's favorite part the caramel apples

Grandma bought her a sucker.  She loved it .

Emme with the vampire ladies!  She thought they were cool, while the other kids were scared

Last Trip of the Summer to Jordanelle

This summer Matt's parents bought a boat.  So off and on we have gone to Jordanelle to go boating.  This was pretty exciting because as a child we never really went boating.  If we were on a boat it was in search of fish.  So this was a different experience for me.  This time we skipped the swimming and inner tubing as the water was cold.  Instead Matt, his dad and Matt's brother fished.  I got to drive the boat for the first time!!!  I even docked it with out and issue.  Though I didn't do so well trying to get it on the trailer, but I just need some practice, which my father in law said I can get next summer when we go out again.  Emme of course loved every minute of the boat ride.  She danced to the music, feed ice to her doll, ate too many chips and cookies.  Poor little girl threw up all over the floor.  Sadly no one caught any fish, oh well maybe next year!!!
He was cold so he stole Olivia's blanket

She did this to herself

A Trip to the Zoo

We love the zoo.  In fact it was our second date.  So we try to go at least once a year.  Emme loves animals so she loves to walk and see every one at her pace.  Olivia of course goes along for the ride.  And fall seems to be the perfect time to go.

Four Months and Witches

Olivia has been growing so quickly, before I am ready she will be walking and talking back.  She is four months now.  She weighs 18 pounds and is 25 inches tall.  That is how tall Emme was at six months.  She is going to be tall, but her Daddy is 6'5 is it is expected that one of our kids will be a giant.  She is starting to coo, eat her fingers, she blows raspberries and bubbles.  She loves her rice cereal.  She has tummy time but want to stand and sit on her own.
We have decided to make a tradition of every year of going to Gardnier's Village in West Jordan to see their Witches' statues.  We try to go on Sunday after church.  Why?  Because the shops are closed and their are no crowds around to deal with.  It is a relaxing  family activity.  Emme loves it.  She loved it so much her grandparents took her the next week.

She is such a sweet happy little thing

Daddy and Olivia she had her angry face on.  She refused to smile the whole afternoon. Guess she needed a longer nap

She loved the witches that moved.  These dance around in a circle

She decided to rerange their pumpkins

Emme was scared till she found out they were not alive.  She  want to shake all their hands

Isn't she cute

What you can't see is she had  a hand full of my hair in her hands.
Guess it is time to keep my hair up and no necklaces for a while
