Big Girl in Training

She insisted on wearing her tutu like Emme

Breaking her of the finger sucking habit is going to be hard.
Our little baby Livi is in the full 'I want to be a big girl' mode.  She has already begun the terrible two's.  ( A little later then her sister who started at age one)  Her favorite word is NO.  If she doesn't get her way or doesn't like something she yells NO.  I have to admit though they can be annoying, her tantrums are not any where near like her sister's.  Emme's were more like Exorcism tantrums. (Screaming kicking eventually vomiting)  Livi's involve more fake tears and flopping on the floor. After a minute they are done. Emme could last for an hour)  She wants to be more independent like Emme but so far we haven't got as far as Emme.  She gets frustrated quick and gives up wanting me or her Daddy to do it for her.  She wants to be potty trained like Emme but isn't yet ready.  She likes to put on her underwear over her clothes and follows Emme to the potty.  We put her on it and have been teaching about where poo and pee comes from.  I think when she gets closer to two we will start on potty training more.  Right now we are just working on her not being afraid of it.  She is happy to be out of her crib and now sleeping in a big girl bed.  The only problem is we are not getting very good naps unless I put her back in the crib because they want to play instead of sleeping  And Livi is horrible with out a good nap. (Right now so am I)  She knows how to throw things in the garbage and clear her plate into the sink.  She also knows to put her laundry in the hamper and diaper in the trash.   Livi loves to do what ever her sister is doing  which is great most of the time since they get along great 95 percent of the time.  She is trying to grow up too soon.  She likes to patty my tummy and give the baby kisses.  She is learning to say please and thank you.  She had a tantrum last night because she had to say Please to get a treat and she kept saying no.  Eventually she said it and got her treat but boy is she stubborn.   ( I am super happy Emme is out of the terrible two and has become a nice child again.  She is trying to teach Livi manners)
