In the beginning

I am not sure how to start this off. I have never really done a blog before and I am attempting two at one time. One is our family blog and one is on my favorite subject genealogy. So maybe I should start off by introducing my family. Matt and me come from two different places. I was raised in Anchorage, Alaska. With two of my four brothers (Chris and Matt) and my younger sister (Sarah).

Matt was raised in West Jordan, Utah with his only sibling, Travis.

We meet on the internet, spending five months emailing, texting and talking before I made the trip to Utah for genealogy. I didn't get much genealogy done that trip.
Within a month we were engaged. On May 10th, 2008 were sealed together forever in the Anchorage Alaska Temple.

Two days later I moved to Utah to start our new life together. We have had a lot of fun since we got married. We went to Disneyland on our honeymoon. Which was fun since the last time I went I was eight and my mom wouldn't take us on any of the fast rides, though the boys got to go on them. We rode splash mountain at least eight times, since it was so hot
.

We have visited the Dinosaur Museum, Temple Square Christmas Lights, Aquarium, Hogle Zoo, Las Vegas, Universal Studios, Sea World and finally in May we went back to Anchorage to visit my family and tell them the good news. That we were expecting our first child. I was happy to see my nieces and nephews, I missed them so much and it is hard living so far away and not getting to see them grow up.
While we were there we went to Moosetooth almost every day, I couldn't stop craving the ginger asian salad. Went on a glacier cruise, thanks to my parents. and other touristy things.

When we got home we went to the doctor thinking we were only a couple months along, since in February I had a test and it said I wasn't pregnant. The doctor told me " I was way pregnant." Five Months, and if the baby hadn't been curled up he could have told us the sex. So we had to wait a week to find out we were having a little girl. On November 4th we had Emmeline Mae Losser 7.6lbs 19inches long. We called her Emmeline after my great great grandmother, since I have always loved that name. And Mae after my mother's middle name.
Everyday Emme gets more funny. She makes random noise, including her version of arg. She must get it from her Uncle Alan. She has red hair, which makes Sarah very happy. We are so happy to be blessed by her. I can't wait for her to meet her cousins.
