Going Insane is Painful

So a couple months back Matt's co workers decided to do a Insanity workout challenge.  Matt decided we would try it.  Almost all the people didn't finish the thirty day fitness routine.  I know why this program is really for people who are already in great shape.  And since I am not in great shape at the moment it was super hard for me to do.  So I have decided to wait till I get my weight down some more so I have a better chance of finishing the program.  Matt bought me this dance game called Just Dance 3 for the play station.  It has a workout program in it.  That is suppose to equal thirty minutes of running on one program and thirty minutes of swimming on the other.  So I am trying it every night it is quiet a workout.  I just need to get moving.  I used to be in pretty good shape before my kids and moving far away from the Alaska Club.  I just wish it would stop snowing and warm up so I could go walking and take the kids to the park.  Fun Times.  My goal is to get back down to a size 18 and then eventually a size 12.  It really isn't about my weight.  It is really about the size jeans i want to fit into.  I have some really pre baby clothes I would love to fit in again.  Someday with a lot of work.  And maybe even the Insanity work out down the road.  If anyone knows any good workouts, I am all ears.  Last week I swam 500 meters when we took the girls swimming.  Matt took them in the kiddie part so I could swim lap.  I am super slow.  I haven't done much lap swimming in years but I felt great after wards.

  1. OMG - I saw the Insanity workout on TV and I probably even couldn't do it! You are doing a whole lot more exercising than I am! I need to start running again...blarg...

  3. Good luck with your goals!! You can do it! Have you ever looked into 'My fitness pal'? It's like weight watchers with the tracking of food and exercise without the cost. That helped me with losing the baby weight. It helped me keep my goals in view, track my exercising, and my food. I love it.
