Washington Part Two

Monday we went to my favorite little cafe, Berry Fields.  I was super happy because it was split pea soup day.  They have the best soup.  Livi kept the people at the next table entertained.  I think she just wanted their french fries.  But it was nice to have lunch with my mom, sister, hubby and kids.  Tuesday was Matt's birthday!  So we went to the Adriatic Grill.  He loves their hamburger.  I loved their steak salad.  We celebrated with a nice steak dinner, a trip for ice cream and my special Triple Chocolate Mousse cake complete with Nutella and Raspberries.  Wednesday we went to see my 95 year old grandmother.  It was a long drive.  But it was nice to see her and for her to met the girls.  We took her to lunch and spent some time with her before taking the long drive back.  (Seattle traffic is what makes it so long) Thursday my brother Matt and his wife came.  (Some how we both ended up coming to visit the same week)  We took the girls to the zoo with my sister and our sister in law Anna.  It was so hot it reminded me of Utah. Friday we hit the fair. The fair wasn't that great.  It was super small and didn't have much to look at.  The best things were the quinoa food booth and the Weird Al concert.  Matt the hubby said that we should have stayed home and let my cousin Doreen babysit us too.  While we were at the fair/concert my cousin and her granddaughter Ty took care of the girls.  They had a blast.  Bouncy castle, a six year old to play with, movies, and pizza.  They were in heaven.
Happy Birthday to my sweet hubby!!!

Off to Great Grandma's we go!

The Weird Al Concert best part when he sang to Sarah with his foot on her shoulder  twice.
Saturday we packed up and left.  Since we decided to split the drive up this time.  The drive was better this time and the motel we found was cheap and clean.  We both miss Washington and my family.  We are hoping for another trip next summer too.

  1. It looks like you had a lot of fun. Hey, I gave Riley corn on the cob and he loved it! Chewed on it for a good 45 minutes and was so happy. Thanks for the great suggestion.
