A Pumpkin Patch, reception and painting

Emme is loving preschool.  She wakes up excited for school.  She literally dances to school.  Last week her class had their first field trip to a pumpkin patch.  Emme was super excited.  Matt's parents watch Alex and Livi so I could take Emme.  A little Mommy and  Emme time.   The pumpkin patch had a large amount of trackers that they could climb on.  Emme had to sit on every one and get her picture taken.  She loved running around the pumpkin patch looking for her perfect pumpkin.  Her class took class pictures, went through the corn maze, had story time, snack time and went on a hay ride.  We finally found her perfect pumpkin in a truck full of pumpkins.  She got up and went through every one.  When I helped her down she grabbed a hold of my necklace which broke.  I searched all over the ground but my heart pendant was gone.  I was so sad my second piece of jewelry this month to be lost.  I just prayed someone would find it and turn it in.  I asked Emme where she wanted to go for lunch.  She said she wanted Bean Soup.  This little girl loves soup.  So we went to Olive Garden to get Bean Soup.  She loves dipping her bread sticks in her soup.  She insisted on sitting next to me and cuddling.  She can be such a sweet little girl.

The perfect pumpkin

That night we drove with Matt's parents to Ogden for Matt's cousin Steven's Daughter's wedding reception.  I am glad they drove as I get lost easily and the wrong address was on the invite.  I got to meet several of Matt's cousins I haven't met before.  The girls had fun running around and dancing.  They love to dance.  Alex loved that they had grapes.

Emme's homework was to paint and decorate her pumpkin before Monday.  So while Alex was napping me and the girls set up in the backyard painting pumpkins.  Livi and Emme picked to do glitter with pink and purple paint.  I forgot to get a picture of the finish product before she took it back to school.
