"I feel sorry for your daughter"

I work at a very very stressful job. Every day I work with fourteen behavioral teenage girls, who get on my last nerve. I once said that I will probably snap some day and take out some of the little darlings. Every day I get my life threaten in various ways, called every name imaginable, and some times even attacked. Today was another glorious day. During our morning group I had to yell to get them to stop being disruptive. And one of them said " I feel sorry for your daughter". For a second was hurt and upset. Why would you feel sorry for her? Do you really think I am that horrible? But the girl realized what she said and quickly fixed it. "I feel sorry for her cause your don't let us get away with anything and your husband is a cop." My poor daughter and future children. I doubt they will get away with anything. Between me and Matt we are way too paranoid. Maybe cause of where we work. But I think in this world it will help us prevent our kids from ending up in Jail or CopperHills.
